Our team of researchers create solutions for a sustainable society, driving research in areas critical to the Irish society and economy.
With Get into Geoscience Ireland, we want to bring this work and research into classrooms across the country, with free career talks, Transition Year programmes, teacher resources and more.
Our Approach
Collaboration is the foundation of everything we do. Whether it’s between researchers, teachers, geoscientists and students, our programmes and resources come together through co-creation. Everyone’s perspective is valid.
Accessibility is crucial to bringing geoscience into schools in Ireland regardless of location or resources. That’s why our programmes, talks and resources are free for teachers and students.
Looking to the future is something we always have in mind and by inspiring and encouraging students to get excited about geoscience, we’re helping them to see the role they can play in securing a sustainable future.
